Oct. 17 + Oct. 24 Ceramics Kurinuki Handbuilding Workshop

This is an introduction to ceramics hand-building workshop. This workshop will use the traditional Japanese Kurinuki method, in which you hollow out and sculpt a block of clay to form a vessel. In this two day class you will learn to form and make two bowls. 

This workshop will take place over two days. The first session you will shape and form your bowls, and after allowing ample time to dry, you will perform the final shaping during the second session. During the second session you may also apply slip to further decorate your bowls. 

You make pick up your glazed and fired bowls two weeks after the classes.

Each one of our workshops has a minimum number of participants required by the teacher. In case that number is not met, the workshop will be cancelled and you will receive a full refund.
